I generally avoid mainstream pop music like the plague. Any industry that pretends to link art to an assembly line should be stamped out of existence. It was quite a relief to find that I enjoyed “Forever Starts Tonight” as much as I do, mostly due to the fact that Eli Purks’ remarkable talent reaches high, low, and in between on this track.

"Eli

Eli Purks

Granted, I have been listening to Eli Purks for a while, and at least since his “Good As I’ll Ever Be” single. I already liked his image, voice, arrangements and musical style. However I am also a big proponent of the theory that it is mostly about the quality of the ‘next’ song that maintains the interest and respectability of any artist. I needn’t have worried, because as always, Purks’ songs are creative, with lyrics that are interesting, strong beats and vocals that are pitch perfect.

“Forever Starts Tonight” is sexy, edgy, flamboyant, and wildly catchy music from the pop planet of Eli Purks, and even with all production put into the track, Eli’s voice alone is the most impressive instrument of it all. It’s fun to listen to, and different from many releases coming out today.

It’s like music from the days when making music meant artistry. If you want to experience an energetic ride that will make you want to get up and move, this is it. You’ll adore the modern pop take with a retro rock feel on “Forever Starts Tonight”, plus Eli Purks’ ability to go from controlled and restrained to utterly revving up his voice.

"Eli

Eli Purks

Eli Purks sends you to the edge and keeps you there, he has absolute control. His songs easily get you to your feet and singing along at the top of your voice. The arrangements are uplifting, exciting and modern. This will keep you awake for hours on replay! “Forever Starts Tonight” has a rock line up that will scorch your systems.

This type of music is lacking on the airwaves these days. It is an onslaught not just of hooks and catchy lyrics, but an onslaught to the senses for sure. Eli Purks is the kind of singer who can make any song sound superb. And if that song is already as superb in its construction, as is “Forever Starts Tonight”, Eli will make it soar!

Eli Purks is simply one of the most exciting young pop artists to come along in decades!
